Pokemon Emerald for game boy cheat with celibi

Once I was told on the computer that if I deleted my game and started a new file with my name as ash I would get a Pokemon that was celibi.I did everything just like it said.It didn't work.My data was lost!!!Do you know how long it took me to get all the way to the battle frontire!!!That just proves that some of you people who put these cheat codes up on the computer are just idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dude, if anyone EVER tells you to delete a game for any reason, dont believe 'em. i almost fell for that.
