my xbox 360 is not showing picture only sound?

what is wrong with my xbox 360? I've tried new AV plugs nothing changed, I tried another TV still no image just sound, I even tried to hook up to a HDTV because my TV wasn't HDTV but still nothing, oh and no ring of lights. what can I do other than what the support articles suggest. I haven't tried the towel.any suggestions?I need to play Rockband2

YEP! I startd to unscrew it and got top of the wasn't able to cont' taken it apart b/c I don't have the tool thing to unscrew this screw...So guess what it's in the closet and I have a New f-ing xbox 360 live and it works. I just hate no money haha I think xbox should do the right thing and eplace these that have been doing the same thing .. I hope I haven't sounded rude but it's the price that is just .. good luck Single mom with 2 happy kids now...

i called tech support and finally got them to take it back and fix it under the extented warrenty thing. after talking to like three different people, one dude finally asked me if i have ever had the three red lights or just one red light. i have had both several times, but it always cleared when i reset it. he then told me that the 360 kept a log of every time it has an error and since i have experienced these problems, the warrenty would cover its repair cost. sucks you had to buy a new one. if you have had red lights in the past, then i would try calling them back and letting them know and then you could have two. one for each kid.
