So I have to buy a 360 and Windows MCE just to "transcode" video to my TV through my 360? No thanks. PS2 and Xbox can already play these formats off of a local network... and the cost to buy and mod a PS2 or Xbox is about 1/3 the cost of a 360 and Windows MCE. Thanks for giving us the -easy- functionality.

I bought my Xbox just to stream media to it via XBMC. I probably would've bought a 360 on launch if they would've included this functionality into the 360 natively. Why they didn't? I guess so they could sell more Media Center Edition PCs. 4  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?
