Uber Frustrating problem

Okay, everything works, and this just started recently, but my Xbox 360 has been making a weird "pop" sound, and then the game freezes, particularly while I'm playing Fable II, though it did it while I was on the dashboard once, too. This page doesn't seem to list any help for this particular problem; there were no red rings or anything... well, there were 3 red rings once, but none of the other times. Any suggestions? Do you find this valuable?

u might want to check out ur xbox it might have a problem reading the game or updating the dashboard
if u still a the warranty for it u can send it in and they can fix it for free. 0  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Most problems I see happen cause the xbox is in a sleeping position. Try putting the xbox on its side, it cools easier and reads games easier(for me anyway) Do you find this valuable?
