What about using it on computers [not xbox360] 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Basically No.

If you plug it into a PC it brings up some Hardware Info "Security" but that's it.

There is no need to use this on a PC as Wireless cards/USB Dongles are much cheaper than the 360 Wireless Adaptor is.
