Thanks, i'll have a look at gameshark and see what they have, I remember a few years ago you could get a gadget that you plug into your console and it would automatically find the cheats for the game you were playing.
i know some cheats require you to complete the game in a set time before you can activate the cheats, such as resident evil, but i got very bored playing that within the first few levels! i found the film was better.
modern war games are sometimes too fast, but WWII games are much better paced, and you're in a lot more control, so it makes the game more enjoyable. I have completed Sniper elite about 8 times, the game is fantastic! but it's on PS2 i'd like to get it on 360 but i doubt it exists, battle of midway is quite hard, and that's on rookie level! two of us have got to a certain point and can't seem to get past that point, but it's the first game i've seen where you can play as part of the axis instead of the allies. i'd like to see more WWII games, maybe something on the haulocaust, although it would spark a lot of controversy, it's all part of history and i think it would be snapped up and played by people who's families were affected by the events during WWII.
with the amount of violent and gory games that exist now, i don't see why they can't bring out such a game. after all it IS educational! and i would certainly buy it, you could change the way things worked out on the game too, like putting the germans in the gas chambers instead! OH WHAT FUN!!! LOL
