Vs. PS2
No doubt the PS2 is the current king of the hill in console market share. Launched by Sony for the price of $299 on October 26, 2000...it's got alot of games, but can it stack up with the latest technology from MSFT?
Vs. PS3
The PS3 doesn't have good loading power and freezes more often
than the 3 6☺. although it comes with Blu-ray technoligy and looks better.
It also costs the same for a worse than xbox 360 version!!! ☻
Vs. Xbox 1
Obviously not a fair comparison given it's against the system the X360 system is meant to replace, but still an interesting exercise. The question is, just how much better is the new iteration?
Vs. PC
This is another tough comparison as the PC will always enjoy inherent advantages over any console simply because the PC is so upgradeable. BUT can better game choice overcome hardware upgrades? I guess that since PC games cost $10-20 less than 360 games, have more products, patches, and DLC released, receive most DLC free, and let's not forget that more games are released exclusively on the PC and cross-platform than on the 360 anyway -- the answer is yes. And, uh, do the hundreds of hours of high-quality user created mods for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and the Source Engine count?
Vs. Atari 2600
Based on pictures alone, it's amazing how far we've come. With rates for well maintained 2600s on the rise, it could become the most expensive system on the market at some point. Crazy!
