I have recently modded my XBOX 360 in a very simple, and slightly degressive way. SInce heat is the quickest way to destroy computers, I have decided to put the 360 inside a pc case, and add fans directly coolers, as well as a few intake and exhaust fans. I then added some lighting and other fancy features. Now many people by now may have many concerns. For starters, power. I added a 400 Watt PC power supply into the PC cases provided slot. I added SPST switches to the front, one for the Power supply, 2 for the cold cathodes. I actually used an X-connect PS that allows me to plugg in only the cables I need. So I fashioned up a special plug I cut from an old power supply that let me only have the wires I needed to power it on and do a few other things. I then added a dashboardw/ card reader, extra USB's via an internally mounted common USB hub, as well as the guts from a portable Hard drive. So basically, I have a cooler running 360, in a PC case, with all the 360 premium features, with 4 USB plugs, a multi card reader, 200 GB Media drive(for music and pictures) cool lighting, and a side tray for a small USB keyboard.

Ok, here's the deal.... There is a way, and it is a geek level task. Basically, if you dont manage to fry out something in the process, being online and getting a Dashboard update will end up Bricking your 360. Microsoft has come a long way in piracy protection. So if you dont go online, look it up, if not, beware!

I have been trying to implement the cheat codes for G.R.A.W., and can not get any of them to work. I am getting tired of the Mexican President walking out in front of enemy fire. Please Help

you can run the internet on the 360, but it is a fairly complicated process involving wmc connectivity. Freaking pay for your games, we all know backups mean piracy. And you can't mod any 360 game like you would a pc game because it requires you getting into the source code to do.

Is there anyway to play backup games without taking the 360 apart? I tried putting a mod-chip in my PS2 and i ruined it. I don't want to make the same mistake again, but instead with a $500 machine

"I was thinking of modding my xbox 360 to be region free but after research the mod currently on offer do not make them region free." Any modding on your 360 will be picked up by Microsoft once you log into Xbox Live and you may have your membership cancelled. My advice is leave it as it is.

is there any way to mod oblivion on the 360 in the same way as you can on the pc? eg. will there be a way to make your own items or map objects on xbox live somehow? it just doesnt seem fair that the 360 players shgould miss out when the game costs double the price on the 360 in comparrison to the pc version
