If i had an xbox live adapter..and i have a vodaphone USB mobile dial up connection plugged in to my computer, could i connect to it using my wireless adapter? then play on xbox live too?

If your connection is dial up then you will not be able to connect to XBOX live because you need a minimum speed of 512kbps, which dial up will not accomodate. And unfortunately unless you have, or can gain access to, a wireless router with a usb port (to allow you to connect the adapter to the router) you will not be able to connect to your Vodafone connection using the xbox 360 wireless adapter.
I would say check your connection speed next time you are online using the adapter and then let us know what you find and we can help you in more detail.

i tried but it keeps saying that it has no connection and my ip address failed or something like that, if anyone knows what i might be doing wrong, place a comment to help me out please

i dont understand i was on and then my ip adress failed when i tried to go on again......any ideas

one thing you can do, is GET A PLAYSTATION! dial up is pre enabled in playstation.

when i plug in the ethernet cord it says dissconnected and i cant get it dial in and dont know how.

Did you enable internet connectiong sharing? Because I had the same problem with WiFi Max on my DS and PSP, but once I enabled ICS, i didn't get an IP error.
