This really pisses me off. I bought the Street Fighter Collection for the original Xbox, and the fact that I won't be able to use that disc on my 360 to play Street Fighter II with people playing it on Live Arcade 360 really gets to me. I mean seriously... Come on people. This is just ridiculous. The fact that both Microsoft and Capcom are trying to get us to rebuy something that we already rebought in the last generation (I say that because I had bought SFII Turbo for my SNES, and then rebought it in the form of Super SFII for the SNES, and then REBOUGHT IT AGAIN in a collection for my Sega Saturn back in the day, and then REBOUGHT IT AGAIN in the Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for my original Xbox so that I could play it online with people. And now, because that disc, which really should be easy as Hell to get to work on the 360, isn't, MS and Capcom try to ring another twenty bucks (I'm guessing) out of my wallet to pay for the same game.

My solution would be to give people who bought the collection disc for the original Xbox the download for free if they still have the original disc. They could simply require that you insert that disc into the 360 to verify the download. While it's true that some people would share discs to try and get it for free, but at least it would offer somewhat of a break to those of us that have been purchasing Street Fighter games for years.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the Street Fighter series. I grew up with it (in my teens), and it was great fun beating, and getting beaten up by, my friends in it for hours on end. And while I'm sure that this version will offer that same level of intensity that it did, oh so many years ago, it just doesn't seem right for Capcom to resell us the same product over and over again.
