Well, it's that time of the year again. All of the big releases are in stores (and, hopefully, in your Xbox 360), so there's plenty of lively debate about what the best game of the year was. Can Rainbow Six Vegas beat out Gears of War? Will Oblivion come out of nowhere to steal the crown? No matter what your favorite game was, you can't deny that it was a good year to be an Xbox 360 owner. Here at TeamXbox, however, we've already started thinking about the future. 2007 is only a few weeks away, so we thought that now would be a good time to sit down and take a look at the games that we'll be arguing about next December.

To kick our multi-day "Most Anticipated Games of 2007" feature off, let's begin with the genre that made the Xbox the console of choice for hardcore gamers everywhere. We'd be willing to bet that every Xbox or Xbox 360 owner has at least one First-Person Shooter in their library, so we figured that would be a logical choice for the first part of our extensive list. So, without further ado, let's take a look at 2007's biggest and best FPSs!
