Improved over years past, but could still use more detail.

Sound: 7 / 10
Pretty good soundtrack, and MUCH better commentary, although most of the good voice work is Cris Collinsworth, with Tom Hammond doing a mediocre job and John Madden is MIA except for Madden IQ test (which is terrible anyway).

Controls: 8.5/ 10
Steep learning curve for new players, but once controls are learned, they are great. A QB avoidance control would be nice addition for next year.

Gameplay: 8.5/ 10
Good gameplay but is still not up to the level set by NFL 2k5
