John Woo's Stranglehold

General comments: The video game successor to the hit action movie Hard Boiled. Pretty good game.

Graphics:
8 / 10
Has some of the best graphics for a 360. The way the main character looks almost exactly like Chow Yun Fat

Sound: 9 / 10
The music is great. When a bullet hits flesh and the blood comes gushing out, to where you're just plain walking on hard grounds.

Controls: 9/ 10
One of the easiest controls you can master. Although you can't change it like you do in Halo as much, it should only take about 5 minutes to get used to the controls.

Gameplay: 7/ 10

Single-player: Extremely, Extremely fun. You get four "special" moves and you can do insane stunts. And like the creaters claim, almost everything can be destroyed, or used to kill your enemy.

Multi-player: This is what lowers the rating on the game. Horrible. While in Single player, it only takes one or two shots to kill someone, this takes like 20 bullets. One of the worst multiplayers I have ever played.

Replay value, longevity: 5 / 10

Single-player: You can replay all the fun levels again, but the effect soon wears off and you'll just play when you're bored or trying to get every achievment possible. The actual campain itself should only take 2-3 days.

Multi-player: None at all. After playing one round, you'll just want to quit. The game is horribly unbalanced, so you wouldn't want to play again.

Overall rating: 7 / 10
