Issues on the 360This is a featured page

While playing Fable The Lost Chapters on the 360, I've noticed that the very beginning when the logos are being shown it gets very choppy, sometimes violently so and it looks like something is wrong with the game, however this usually stops by the main menu screen. I thought that this might be because of the auto sign in feature as some original xbox titles have a lot of trouble dealing with the auto sign in account (It logs out of any accounts before playing an original xbox title) and I thought that an update fixed this issue as it seems to have gotten better, but it will still do that on occasion.
Also, I've noticed choppy performance in certain areas and it seems more likely to freeze in Witchwood, so if you aren't someone who saves often... start that habit, at least for Witchwood! Although the game sometimes slowed even on the original Xbox and even the original Fable(Before the Lost Chapters had a tendancy to freeze in Witchwood.
Every now and then on the 360 I notice odd bleeping noises that are obviously not supposed to be in this game, however everything is still playable and my friend has beaten the entire game without too much incident, so it's still playable and enjoyable as it was before.

I'm still trying to figure out how to complete this title. I've gone through 4 discs, and they are all doing the same thing...freezing my 360. I'm about 3/4 of the way through (at the point where I disregard all pending quests to fight Maze at Hook Coast). Whenever I try to save at this point (Hero or World), the game freezes while saving. Which ends up corrupting the save spot. I've cleared the cache, I've used different discs, and still same problem. Haven't had any real issues until this point.

Other Xbox titles work fine, ie. Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden Black, and Jade Empire. 360 titles work fine as well. So I'm pretty sure it's not my 360. The only thing I can think of is the emulation software. But I'm perplexed now, because according to xanderthemighty, him and his friend were able to finish the game.

And M$ hasn't gotten back to my emails about this issue. What a surprise. Hope they finally start to care about there customers, and fix any known issues with their system.
