Halo 3 Skulls
Gold Skulls- Where they are. (No particular order)
1) Sierra 117 Iron- You have to start from the very beggining of the mission on heroic difficulty to obtain this skull. Above Johnson's cell is a walkway, over to the far right there are some crates that you can jump on to get ontop of the walkway, go all the way down the walkway and you'll find a skull sitting there at the dead end.
2) Crow's Nest Black Eye- As soon as you start the mission, walk up the staircase, turn to a crate up against a steel "barrier". Jump on the crate, then on the barrier, jumps carefully on the pipe above. Face where the TVs are and stay on the pipe, on the far end is a skull sitting on the edge.
3) Floodgate Fog- When you start the mission, walk over to where the buildings are, go to about the first lamp post and look ontop of the first building, if timed correctly, a single flood alien will be on the building, you can kill him in the air, or you can get a headshot when he's on the building, if you hit him in the air, he might throw the skull over the fence where you can't get it, if you nail him with a headshot on the building, he will throw the skull by the fence where you can get it.
4) The Ark (Forgot Name)- You must start the mission from the beggining and play on a difficulty on normal or above. when you go out to find the Oracle, you will pass a similar looking ledge like when you couldn't open it. Get off your vehicle and walk to where you see a little rock, and a bigger rock, jump on the little rock, then on the big rock, the on the hugest rock right next to you. Jump on the ledge and go all the way to the last "corner" that is jutting out. Grenade jump on the "corner" and the skull should be sitting there,
5) Mission before Cortana Catch- You must start this mission from the beggining and play on a difficulty normal or higher. Get to the part with the Hornets, fly one to the large pathway, walk up the ramp in the middle and the skull should be sitting there if you've done this correctly.
(Um, slight problem, the mission BEFORE Cortana has the Catch Skull)
