There’s also something to be said about the teamwork that involves contact. The game will make use of microphone support, so you can shout commands amongst your team and keep in constant contact, and the voice recognition system and real-time lip syncing promise to keep the communication as smooth as possible, all while it actually looks like you’re screaming to your team instead of just keeping a stiff face. Leave it to Epic to implement little details like that and make them shine that much more.Gears of War is expected in the 4th quarter of 2006 exclusively on Xbox 360. This game will be like Halo but not a run and gun so find cover and blind fire alot. The best part of this game are the secret levels.

This is friggin' awesome, and you know what else is friggin' awesome? This is my very first comment.
Rainbow six guy, they did not have lip synch, the lips just twitched while speaking into the mic, thats not true lip synch. It sufficed though...Damn I hated that big symbol above the persons head when they talked. |

I think that's a pretty cool feature. I guess it's the next logical step in games and hopefully lots of games will be implementing this feature in positive ways in the future!
