On January 5th,2006,Microsoft.com had made a long-term agreement with DIRECTV.This involves the Xbox 360 getting a blade on its dashboard to gain access to DIRECTV.Such abilities are downloading TV in HD,watch HD programs on demand,and use standard definition streaming TiVo functions.No one knows if the DIRECTV Hi Def DVR or Standard Def DVR will work with the Xbox 360,but for those Xbox 360/Windows XP Media Center users can hookup their Xbox 360 to their Media Center PC.Then connect their Living Room PC to their DIRECTV to get the DIRECTV programs to the Xbox 360.The Official Xbox Magazine posted this in March 2006.Wikipedia considers this as a Internet rumor.
