Description
Call of Duty 2 is the sequel to the original COD for the PC. Players are thrust into WWII on the side of the allies as they try to stop the Nazi progression across Europe. It ends with the D-Day assault on Normandy. This game has very mature content in the form of violence ad language. It is not intended for a young audience.

Game play modes
Single Player Mode: Players begin the games story-based campaign through single player mode. COD 2 uses a theatre or chapter format that puts the player in the role of a fictional WWII soldier in countries like Russia, Britain, and the United States. Players will also find that missions have varying objectives involving actions such as repairing phone lines and demolishing ammo depots.

Multiplayer mode: COD2 features multiplayer gameplay with up to 16 players via system link and upu to eight players over Xbox Live. By using system link, players will be able to customize their matches to their liking. When the gamer signs onto Xbox Live for multiplayer gameplay he/she will find two options called ranked match and player match. Both options consist of the software doing matchmaking and assigning maps/weapon sets.
